Ravello Travel Information

From Amalfi a 7km drive along the Vale of Dragons winds through soaring peaks and deep ravines, twisting and turning, to climb to the elevated heights of Ravello, a tranquil oasis town with glorious scented public gardens and masterpieces of Moorish/Mediterranean architecture. It lies perched on a jutting balcony with staggering views over a vast expanse of turquoise water. This dramatic setting is best described by French author Andre Gide who wrote ‘Ravello is closer to the sky than to the sea shore’. Come in August and soak up the atmosphere of its famous open-air music festival.

Transfers: approx 2 hours 15 minutes.
