Gozo Travel Information

Just 14km long, smaller and greener than Malta, Gozo is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy red sandy beaches, the clearest blue waters, idyllic villages and great fish restaurants. The scuba diving around the island is some of the best in the Mediterranean with several PADI-approved diving schools.  Gozo’s unique sights include the Azur Window, the Inland Sea, Calypso’s Cave and the prehistoric megalithic temples at Ggantija.

You’ll love Xaghra, a pretty village close to the charming and un-crowded sandy beach at Ramia Bay and the Ggantija Temples and you shouldn’t miss Marsalform and Xlendi,  picturesque seaside resorts with shingle and sand beaches respectively. Both are renowned for their seafront fresh fish restaurants. You should also visit the charming villages of Gharis and San Lawrenz and Victoria, the island’s tiny capital, to buy lace and crafts at its market.
