Warsaw Travel Information

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is a wonderfully welcoming city, and a delight to explore. Perhaps best known as the birth-place of Chopin, and for its carefully rebuilt Old Town, Warsaw is steeped in history and culture. Largely destroyed during the Second World War, much of the architecture is modern, with the Palace of Culture and Sciences dominating the skyline. Most people who visit Warsaw take time to visit the Ghetto Museum, which commemorates the 380,000 Jews sent to the horrors of Auschwitz. Combined with fantastic shopping, interesting museums and vibrant nightlife make Warsaw a great short break destination.
